The short version: this is an independent fan guide, not the fair itself. Read it for planning, verify anything that costs you money or time on the official site, and don't mistake us for them.

Who this is
An independent guide
Frederick County Fair is an independently produced visitor's guide to the Great Frederick Fair. We are not the Frederick County Agricultural Society, we do not operate the fairgrounds, and we are not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with the official fair in any way. Every ticket-purchase link on this site points to the fair's own official channels — we do not sell tickets ourselves.
Accuracy
Information can be wrong or out of date
Dates, prices, the grandstand lineup, admission promotions, vendor line-ups and exhibitor rules are compiled from the fair's own published information and checked as of the date shown in each page's footer. Fairs change things — a schedule shifts, a promotion is adjusted, a vendor doesn't return. We correct errors when we find them, but we cannot guarantee everything here is current at the moment you read it.
Where this site expresses an opinion — that one day is quieter than another, that one deal beats another — that is a judgment call, not a fact published by the fair. It's labelled that way throughout the site.
Before you travel, buy a ticket, enter an exhibit, or apply for vendor space, confirm the details on the fair's official site or by calling their office. Their contact information is in the footer of every page on this site.
